Today, people from all walks of life,  living in most neighborhoods around us, are already using     clean and green energy for their electricity, heating, transportation and other needs, and also learning to use energy more efficiently. Their efforts are helping to make a cleaner, healthier environment for all of us. But this is largely a quiet revolution, and most people don't realize how possible it is to get energy from clean, renewable sources, and to conserve energy with efficient products which work well, right now.

With the Clean Green Power Patch, Massachusetts Girl Scouts can make a difference in their own communities by helping more people learn about clean, green power. For this patch, girls will visit a local clean energy site, meet and interview a person who has made smart energy choices, make a project, spread the good news, earn a patch, and have some fun!
